Just got my jack boots back from the cobblers today - the rubbish modern stick-on rubber soles replaced with additional stiched soles (sort of double-soled now) and nicely studded. I'll be soaking the leather soles and uppers with copious quantities of leather goo over the next few days, to be ready for D-Day +2.

They were originally for the DAK but were issued to Waffen SS and Heer units late in the war as well. (Perhaps "webbing" 'y' straps would have been more accurate!).

- Cyma Thompson with 3 mags and sling from Gunman regular/marshall Robbie for £80.
- A better inner-barrel and cut-off lever for my G3 from Gunman regular/marshall Mark.
- An entrenching tool from Spiers for £15 and perhaps even some nice BD from him too!

Quite right mate. I've got them because they don't need breaking in and are more comfortable than leather ones.
On a bit of a spending spree this week! Just ordered a WE luger, a P90 tappet plate and an M16 length barrel from Cobra.
